Colour, vibrance and texture are a thread of all my work. As a creative delving into fine art has been energising.
Oils being my preferred medium and recently I’ve been exploring acrylic and all other mediums I can use with it. The process has become more enjoyable than the outcome. I’ve chosen subjects close to my heart taken from memories or fleeting everyday images.
My colour use is reminiscent of some of the vibrant countries I’ve visited and lived. It may be in my colour selection, content or my quirky depiction thereof.
This exhibition is a small selection of my work and I hope you enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.
