Malika Batool is a visual artist focusing on human expressions. Attained her Bachelors of fine arts in 22′ from the prestigious university of the Punjab college of art and design (PUCAD). Artist got her inspiration from Parveen Shakir’s poem. Her work can be seen on two levels: the first one is the starkly and achingly captivating soreness of eyes and other is a lushness of colours and texture on the skin, the restless contrast of light and dark. Artist has been a part of Al-Hamra Art Centre. Currently working in Lahore, Pakistan.
